Edmonton, Alberta

The sky is falling, pigs are successfully adjusting their altitude and hell is experiencing an unusual low pressure cool front. We have moved to Edmonton. After the dust settled from the bucking bronco that has been our lives for the past year, I've accepted a fantastic permanent position as a cinematics animator at a large (300+) game developer 'Bioware'.

With an almost genetic disposition to disliking Edmonton (or 'The Chuck') as Calgarians we are actually finding ourselves enjoying our new place and a lot of what the city has to offer. The river valley is a huge green space that runs through the city, rent is reasonable, ginger beef is plentiful, my commute is 6 minutes and we're only a couple hours away from Calgary!

The condo we decided to rent for the first year is brand new and we were fortunate to be the first to move in. It's in an excellent location and around triple the size of our old place - usually three times zero is zero, but in this case, it's a little more than 800 sq ft.

If you're interesting in what Bioware does, and which game I'm working on, check out the latest in-game footage.

More pictures of the bathroom please! Also, is it true that the water swirls the other way up there (or is it just an open hole)?
