Getting Ready to Go!
There's only one week left until we leave, and it is going to be an incredibly busy time: visting friends and family, making sure we have everything we need, packing, finishing those last few days of work, and so on, and so on... Anette will be graduating with her B.A. in Sociology on Wednesday, June 8th, and we'll be on the plane on the 9th at 12:10pm! Exciting!!

Very Cool. Does this really work? Can I attach photos?? Once I hit publish, does that mean that EVERYONE can read EVERYTHING that I've written?? (Better let me know before my next message!!) What are HTML tags?
Very Cool - AK
Uh Oh...where's the spell check...
Hey Brad did I ever tell you I have a small, ongoing postcard collection on my fridge in Vancouver? Ahem... Sorry, I have a cough, and I just thought I'd type it.
Have fun dude!

Dear Brad and Anette,
Since this will be read by one and all, I will try to contain my emotions - but I can't guarantee anything once I start writing!!!!
For the last 23 years we've seen you grow into the finest of young men. I've always loved the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child". We live in an incredible village.
This is what it is all about - we wanted to raise you to become a strong person - a kind person with a generosity of spirit - a person who has goals and isn't afraid to work hard - and a person who has dreams. You are everything we hoped and prayed for, and we are grateful for the lessons you taught us along the way.
Five years ago Anette came into your life - and into ours. We are so proud of her, and love her dearly.
We know you will reach your destination - but remember to enjoy the journey. That is what it is all about.
The world is yours to explore. Safe travels, and know we will always be with you.
Love Mom and Dad (aka Heather & Roger)
PS Sorry if I was too mushy...:)
Hi Anette and Brad
Good to know you are safely in Portugal! We have sunshine and 21 degrees in Calgary today. Not bad after all that rain! Pappa and I are going for a long walk, but I guess it won't be a "valley walk" as we do not have boots high enough to wear(ha,ha). Andre is at work, so the house is very quiet after Marja has left. We had such a good time and laughed a lot. We were going to watch Chicago on the big screen last night as we did not realize it was already packed for Toronto! We settled for Forrest Gump and enjoyed it, again!!!
Take care and be happy!!

Anette, Paula and i were thinking of you on Grad day, trust it was as much fun as memorable.WAY TO GO!!! Enjoy your journey. looking forward to travelling with you, vicariously thru your camera lens.

Hei Anette
Hi Anette and Bradley
Had to share some great news from Norway with you. Tante Lena had a baby boy today, June 28th at 8 p.m. Norway time!!! Everything is fine and the baby was born on brother, Simon's fifth birthday. Great timing!! I will keep you posted by e-mail. We really enjoyed your latest postings with all the wonderful photos. You are surely having a wonderful time! Love you both!

Hi Brad and Annette,
I'm REALLY enjoying reading about your tavels and the pictures are great! I especially like your expression Brad in the "fountain" picture. Stay safe.
