Some brilliant silversmith invented the cup above to meet the challenge set by a rich baron for his daughter's hand in marriage. Both people needed to drink from the same cup, and not spill any wine. We were both wearing white, and I'm pleased say, remained so.



When you starting drinking wine at 9:30am, almost any day is guaranteed to good. Of course, driving through what looks like the south of france with your family, politely tasting wine you'd usually have to use a second mortgage to purchase, and you get quite an extraordinary day indeed.
