What better way to end an intense year of school than to kick back and relax with family? My Auntie Karen, Uncle Colin, and Cooper flew us down to Kansas for a few days to unwind and spend some time with them. It was an absolute blast, we got to see Cooper playing soccer, his new dog Oreo (Aka 'Cooter'), have a huge feed of fresh shrimp and see some of the more interesting spots in Kansas.




Among those spots was the world famous Cabello's which is some sort of hunters theme park. Anette took some quality time admiring (and emulating) some of the fare on display.



Kansas is a lot different than most people imagine it, and the amount of trees and greenspaces were a real breath of fresh air after the crowded concrete of Toronto. We sure appreciated the time we spent with them, and to quote any number of 'Boomer Aunties' Cooper sure is growing like crazy. At this rate he'll have a beard and be able to wrestle me to the ground like a little girl in a year or two.
