Oakville, Ontario - Our February Visitors

Our normally quiet little apartment saw a slough of visitors in February - Well, 5 people in total ... but that's a lot considering we haven't had any visitors before!

We don't have any photographic evidence, but Brendon (who was in Toronto for training through work) came for a spicy Thai dinner on the 9th. And then he came again with Charlene on the 18th to stay the night. (Yes - as unbelieveable as it may seem - we can actually accommodate (and fairly comfortably!) more than two sleeping people in our tiny apartment!) Charlene has been accepted to U of T law school, so they came East to check it out. They really enjoyed their Toronto experience... and they got to take in a little bit of Oakville, too. (Exciting!)

Our second set of visitors was Anette's family.
André had jazz auditions at McGill (in Montréal) and U of T, so the whole gang came out to visit for a week. (The auditions went really well - now we're just waiting to hear the results! Good Luck, André!)

Anette was more than happy to take some time off work to play the "expert" tour guide... They went to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, toured Toronto - including U of T, Eaton Centre, and the CN Tower, and enjoyed the shops and restaurants of downtown Oakville.

It was a cold day at Niagara!

They even came over for dinner - Anette's homemade spicy chicken spinach lasagna! We only have 4 dinner plates, and no dinner table, but we made due!

Poor Brad - who was (and still is) crazily busy with his animation project - didn't get to join in on much of the action. But he did get to join us for an amazing dinner at the CN Tower's revolving 360 restaurant! (The picture doesn't do the view any justice at all, but you get the idea.)

It was so fun to have visitors... and we won't have to wait long for more. Heather and Roger will be coming for a weekend early in April. Stay tuned for a post visit update!
